HiI'm connecting a Lexar CFR1 Compact Flash card reader to the USB 3.0 port on the right side of a HP ENVY Notebook - 17-r107na.This card reader is continiously connecting and disconnecting from the Laptop, this happens every 5-10 seconds.I've tried all USB ports on the Laptop and the card reader behaves the same way.I know the card reader works fine on another PC.I know another USB 3.0 device, a WD My Passport Ultra works fine on the laptop and I can copy files to and from it.Please help me solve this, I really need for this to work as I need to transfer files from my DSLR.RegardsNeil. Hey NeilT1972 Welcome to the community and congrats on your first post!As Mrstenter suggested, this may be connected with the USB drivers and a simple update can fix the issue. I'd follow the suggested guidelines and see if that has an effect. Are you encountering the problem while using a card in the card reader during file transfers or simply when the reader is connected without any activity? Since the reader is working perfectly fine on another computer it shouldn't be the cause of the problem.Does your WD My Passport drive behave in a similar way when it's just connected to the system with no workload on it?CaptainWD. Hi,Thanks so much for the Video.

Yes, you are right it was helpful to see what was happening. Try this update.Just to confirm that it did copy the files from My passport with not issues? Before copying the files from the Lexar try formatting them. Right click and see if it gives you compatibility mode for Windows 10.Have you tried to uninstall the reader from Device Manager?Sometimes uninstalling it and reconnecting it installs it correctly.Have you tried contacting Lexar to see if they have some helpful tips?Let me know.Thanks. Thanks so much for the Video. Yes, you are right it was helpful to see what was happening. Try this update.Updated Installed, still no change.Just to confirm that it did copy the files from My passport with not issues? That is correct, My passport is working fine. Before copying the files from the Lexar try formatting them.
Right click and see if it gives you compatibility mode for Windows 10.Don't see the compatibility option. But I have reformated card on another pc. Still the same.Have you tried to uninstall the reader from Device Manager?Sometimes uninstalling it and reconnecting it installs it correctly.Uninstalled, rebooted and then reconnected reader, still seeing the same issue.Have you tried contacting Lexar to see if they have some helpful tips?No I have not, as the reader works fine on other PCs and I assumed that the issue was with the laptop. I will raise a call with them now.
Sd Card Keeps Disconnecting Windows 10 Windows 10![]() ![]()
I'm sorry if this is in another thread, but I've searched for an hour and haven't found a problem exactly like this one. I was able to move a few files to my X from my computer earlier tonight, but I unplugged it from my computer to do something on the phone, and when I plugged it in later, the computer showed the phone storage (drive F) and SD card (drive G). However, I can't open the SD card, and when I go into the SD Card settings on the phone, it keeps going back and forth between Mount and Unmount. The stuff on the card is there and everything works fine when I'm not connected to the computer. But I can't move anything to my phone via USB since I can't get the computer to recognize the SD card.

I also noticed that there's no option to format the SD card (well, it's there, but grayed out). Anybody know of anything I can try??
Hello knowledgable people.I have a persistent problem on my Yoga 2 13, any SD card will be randomly disconnected and reconected again. Sometimes I manage to import some pictures, mostly not. It does it with any SD card (have about 20, various brands and sizes), and with any software (normaly I use Nikon transfer 2, but it's the same if I try to copy files in Windows).I have reinstalled and updated all drivers and controllers.I have searched extensively first, but did not find the solution.Thank you for your help.Jiri. You're welcome mate!I have a Lenovo Yoga 3 11. The SD card problem was introduced when I installed Windows 10.All hail Lenovo Support for not updating their drivers pages for older laptops!I don't put up with that type of 'support', so I found the solution myself. I keep a 128Gb micro SD permently in my SD slot using a shortened SD card adapter, doubling my storage (my SSD is only 128Gb).How's you track pad behaving?
Right click button working ok? If not, Lenovo have outdone themselves again by not putting the most comptible driver on the driver support page for your laptop. I can point you to a better driver, basically it's the one for the Yoga 2 Pro Lenovo drivers support page. This oneWorked a treat for my laptop trackpad.
Right click works perfectly. Thanks mate:-), but now all works very well, incl track pad.But you are right. Free kannada mp3 song download. When I bought it I got rid of all bloatware. Later I discovered, the fligt mode did not work. I contacted the Lenovo support, and was adviced to send my new laptop to Lenovo for keyboard change!!!On some forum (here or Microsoft) somebody adviced me, that i need a stupid Lenovo utility manager. Who would think that?So I installed it, it worked, and I had absolutely no problem untill this one. Thanks again.
